Graduates of the Second Edition of Executive Offshore Wind MBA Receive Their Diplomas
Eighteen individuals have graduated from the second edition of Gdynia Maritime University Executive Offshore Wind MBA programme – the innovative and transformative programme organised by the Offshore Wind Energy Centre at GMU prepares personnel for leading roles in the green energy transformation.
The EOW MBA programme combines modern knowledge with practical skills in the management of offshore wind companies. Graduates of the programme are highly qualified specialists who have gained the necessary competencies for the effective management of projects supporting the development of renewable energy sources.
Offshore wind energy (OWE) plays a key role in the attainment of global climate goals, and its development requires excellence in both management and the implementation of innovative solutions. Participants in the EOW MBA programme had the opportunity to work with industry experts from across the world. In addition to providing them with a wealth of knowledge, this also enabled them to develop a network of international contacts.
The ceremony for the presentation of the EOW MBA diplomas took place in the Captain’s Lounge on board Dar Młodzieży. Representing GMU authorities was the Deputy Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Dr Sambor Guze. Also taking part in the ceremony was Mariusz Witoński, the Vice-President of the Polish Offshore Wind Energy Chamber.
The career potential of the graduates of the Executive Offshore Wind MBA was highlighted by the Deputy Rector for Education, Professor Sambor Guze:

Mariusz Witoński drew attention to the fact that offshore wind energy is an area that has seen spectacular growth in recent years, both in Poland and internationally:
We have an opportunity to be part of a crucial moment which may be revolutionary for the Polish industry. As pioneers in this area, you will make an important contribution to processes which will change the face of the energy industry in Poland and will have a massive impact on our society. The diploma which you will receive today is proof of your determination and readiness to take up important roles in the dynamically developing offshore wind energy sector. It also comes with the responsibility to make full use of your potential by playing a part in the advancement of Poland’s position in the international market.
Speaking on behalf of the graduates was the highest-graded programme participant, Dominika Potulska who said that the Executive Offshore Wind MBA programme was a journey full of challenges, great learning, extraordinary experiences, and, most importantly, encounters with fantastic people:
Thanks to the programme, not only have we gained priceless knowledge and tools which we can implement immediately in our professional careers, but we also enjoyed exceptional moments which will remain in our memories. Company site visits, a study tour to Denmark, our class sessions, and informal gatherings, enabled us to not only develop our competencies but also strong relationships that will pay dividends in the future.
According to the Director of the GMU Offshore Wind Energy Centre, Dr Tomasz Harackiewicz, graduation from the EOW MBA is not only an individual success but also a step on the path to achieving our common goal – the creation of a cleaner, more sustainable future:
